The hotel is much larger than it appears from the outside, and it pleasantly surprised us in many ways. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sofa and an incredibly efficient air conditioning system that kept the room cool even after we spent the entire day outside (they only provide you with one key card). The bathroom was also impressive, with a large shower. One of the best things about the hotel was the water bottle refill station, which allowed us to stay hydrated without having to constantly buy bottled water. While the gym could use some TLC as some equipment might soon be unusable we still managed to get a couple of great workouts in. The gym has treadmills, dumbbells (up to 10kg), a multi-exercise machine, and bikes. The hotel also had a pool and table tennis tables that were free to use, providing fun leisure activities. The breakfast was abundant, and the staff were very attentive in keeping the tables clean and tidy. Additionally, the hotel had a small public library with books in different languages, which was a very pleasant addition. Overall, we were impressed with the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Good quiet central location, great staff, nice pool, clean rooms, excellent water pressure in the shower, good massage at spa.Not too busy in August & always got a sun lounger. Our first room was by the pool bar, stairs & elevator & being a light sleeper they kindly moved us. We got a pool access room but didn't use it much as partner got Dengue fever & was very sick. Make sure you use insect repellant. FYI local hospital excellent & reasonable price if you get sick. The beds are hard & we asked for a soft topper & they started with two & the next day increased to 4 which was better. Nanny was our favourite, very outgoing & helpful with massage & pool drinks. Our housekeeper was also brilliant.

The pool was nice, and our daughters enjoyed swimming there. The property is located off a small road, well away from the waterfront. There was a very short walk to several restaurants, a 7-11, various souvenir shops and massage facilities. One thing that was a running joke for our family was the impressive number of cannabis shops that line the main road as you walk towards the beach. There was a moderate walk to the local "tourist" night market, which featured impressive dining options and live musical performances.

Deficitspending

Breakfast was ideal, filled us up for most of the day, lots of options and warm! Good location, lovely Thai and Indian restaurant on the corner and 7/11. 2 minutes for the small night market and 15 from the massive one. Cocktails and happy hour were amazing - missing the Mango Daiquiris! Pool access room was great, only thing I’d say is the floor is very very slippery and a bigger mat would’ve been good for H&S.

The staff were so attentive and helpful. Great location, good amenities. Both managers (back and front) were great, the view from the higher rooms is amazing. The housekeepers also paid a lot of attention to detail.
